Piccadilly Motors Sponsors Knaresborough Fun Run 2009

For the 11th year in succession Piccadilly Motors were the main sponsors for the 2009 King James School Knaresborough Fun Run.
Although the weather wasn’t very kind to the spectators, the event still managed to raise a magnificent £8,500.00 for good causes within the school. This money will certainly make a difference to the wellbeing of many of the pupils at the school.
This year there was a record number of runners, including several from Piccadilly Motors. Simon Watts our Managing Director finished the 10K in just over one hour. He stated “conditions were good for running, yet it still seems to get harder every year!”
Each runner received a Fun Run mug provided by Piccadilly Motors in recognition of them finishing the event.
Piccadilly would like to thank the PTA, many helpers and the runners for making this event such a success.
We all look forward to supporting the school again in 2010!
