Piccadilly Teams finish the Race in Record Times

On one of the hottest days of the year all three teams finished the Great Knaresborough Bed Race in record times.
Although we may all have been another year older the training certainly paid off.
Piccadilly Motors Alfa Romeo, and Piccadilly Kia all joined the Bed Race Parade with the latest models from each manufacturer following the parade route.
On the back of this event and our entry into the 2009, Friedrichroda International Bed Race, we hope to raise in excess of £5,000.00 for our chosen charity Candlelighters. www,candlelighters.org
During the award ceremony after the race, Simon Watts, Managing Director was pleased to receive the cup for "Best Sponsored Non Corporate Bed"
Naturally the sunshine brought out the crowds which were overwhelming. Without doubt, overall it was the best Bed Race in its 44 year history. Hopefully meaning record monies were raised for all the charity's involved in the event, including the organisers, Knaresborough Lions.
